Beginner Rifle and Pistol - Level 1
This course is designed for beginners, new gun owners, and those interested in learning the fundamental skills for safe and efficient shooting. This 3 hour class provides a comprehensive introduction to the basics of rifle and pistol shooting, including firearm safety, proper handling techniques, and foundational shooting skills. You will learn in a safe, supportive, and controlled environment under the guidance of certified instructors.
Course Content:
1. Firearm Safety: Emphasis on the four universal safety rules, safe firearm storage, and handling.
2. Introduction to Firearms: Overview of different types of rifles and pistols, their parts, and their functions.
3. Fundamentals of Shooting: Instruction on shooting techniques including stance, grip, sight alignment, and trigger control.
4. Practical Shooting Drills
5. Maintenance and Cleaning: Basic procedures for the care and maintenance of firearms.
Equipment and Materials Provided:
- Firearms & Ammo (If you don’t own them yet)
- Eye and ear protection
- Targets and training materials
NOTE: All ammunition provided by Adamas Firearms Training MUST be shot in its entirety while at the class. No ammunition will be available to take home.
*ANYONE under the age of 21 must have a parent or legal guardian in attendance. Only exemption is Military personnel or a valid hunting license.
